Complaint:
Driver and/or front passenger seat bell catches when pulled out.
Cause:
Belt strap was not fed back correctly.
Note:
See owne(s manual "Removing seat belt". If the seat belt is not fed back when the button is released, there is a risk
of the belt being retracted by the return spring so violently that parts of the interior trim are damaged by the buckle tab
and a risk of the belt locking in position when being reeled in. This results in the belt catching when pulled out again.
When taking off the belt, always guide the buckle tab back to the guide point with your hand.
Remedy:
Pull belt strap out approx. 20 millimeters with medium hand force.
Allow belt slack to run back in so that the locking element returns to the "Free" position.
Note:
To remove belt=> Press the release button and guide the buckle tab back to the guide point.
Do not replace any parts.
