Cause:
Electric motor M53/10 or M53/11 is not functioning.

Remedy:
In the event of complaint, please replace electric motor only

Complaint:
Noises from flat spring core in backrest

Cause:
The blue sheathing on the vertical wires of the flat spring core may exhibit crush marks at the connecting points with
the horizontal wires. If this is the case, there is direct contact between the metal wires. This chafing effect can produce
noises.

Remedy:
As an immediate measure proceed as follows:
1. Detach seat-back lining.
2. Apply lubricant to nodes of spring mat wires.
Series production has been optimized for vehicles produced as of 01.12.2007.
