Complaint:

Noises can occur when sitting down or w hen adjusting the backrests of the individual rear seats.
Cause:

Unfavorable component tolerances
Remedy:

The following steps are to be followed in the case of noise complaints at the rear seat backrest:

1 . Remove backrest

2. Remove backrest pa dding

3. Atta ch felt material to the backrest frame (see picture PIC_ 1}

- At the lower radii

- At the side fram e elements

- At the upper radii

4. Attach felt material to the rear of the backrest frame towards the backrest padding (not with SA code 406 !) (see

picture PIC_2}

- Felt size 80x320 mm

5. Apply a ca re product to the seat cover and w heel well liner in the area of the contact surfaces between the individual rea r seat backrests and the wheel well liner at the C-pillar

(see pictures PIC_3, PIC_4 and PIC_5}

6. Apply a ca re product to the seat cove rs in the area o f the transition from the rear backrest to the center armrest
