Reason for block
Complaint:
Noise from the front seats during load change.
Cause:
Inclination adjustment shaft without lubrication in area of bearing brackets: as a result, noises can occur during load
change.
Remedy:
Lubricate the inclination adjust shaft and both left and right bearing brackets with sliding compound.
To eliminate noises, use only the lubricant with the part number A0009893660 on plastic parts.
Commercially-available materials, which remove the fiex additive in the plastic and cause the bearing brackets to
break.
1. Remove front seat.
2. Place front seat with underside upwards on a suitable base.
3. Press out plastic pins on left and right bearing bracket and remove bearing brackets (is clipped in).
Note: Bearing brackets and plastic pins may be used once only.
4. Apply lubricant in contact area of bearing brackets and inclination adjustment shaft.
5. Install in the reverse order.
