Cause:

Excess plastic flashing on outside mirror frame in area of seal see Figure 1.

Remedy:

1. Fold in outside mirror.

2. Check whether there is excess plastic flashing on the plastic frame of the outside mirror, Figure 2.

3. If yes, trim excess flashing with a suitable tool, e.g. knife.

Note: The outside mirror frame does not need to be replaced.
