Cause:

Threaded connection of rea r spoiler has worked loose
Remedy:

1. Remove roof spoiler.

2. Replace all steel bolts with coarse plastic thread {Figure 1, Figure 2) by steel bolts with metric thread {Figure 3) A

000 990 50 23. Tightening torque: 5 Nm

X204 onlY.: Fit protective caps on the two outer attachment points.

3. Reinstall roof spoiler.

Note: The roof spoiler does not need to be replaced.
