Complaint:
1. The display in the Audio/COMAND display (A40/8) flickers or briefly turns green, red, or black.
2. The Digital DriveStyle App in the iPhone 4/4S performs a reset. The Audio/COMAND display (A40/8) shows a "Digital DriveStyle is being continued" fault message.

Cause:
- Audio-video adapter (HDMI adapter) from Apple
- Connectors and routing of Drive Kit Plus wiring harnesses

Remedy:
- Replace audio-video adapter (HDMI adapter) from Apple. Replacing the audio-video adapter cable is not claimable
under warranty.
- Check connectors and routing of Drive Kit Plus wiring harnesses are firmly seated or for any twisting, buckling or kinking, and route again, if necessary.
Notes:
- Note correct part number of audio-video adapter for vehicles with Drive Kit Plus ex-factory (code 856) or retrofit (accessories)!
- For vehicles equipped with Drive Kit Plus ex-factory (Code 856) the Drive Kit Plus wiring harnesses run from the
bracket in the stowage compartment in the center armrest to the connecting point below the cup holder, and from there to the Drive Kit Plus control unit (N123/7) under the right front seat (for left-hand drive and right-hand drive vehicles). Please note the following WIS documentation.
- For vehicles with retrofitted Drive Kit Plus (accessories) please note the installation instructions in the corresponding
WIS documentation.
