This bulletin has been revised to include the Traverse model, add the 2009-2014 model years

and update the Labor Operation to the Global Labor Code (GLC). Please discard Corporate

Bulletin Number 07-08-59-007.

Some customers may comment on a squeak/creak

noise in the front or rear doors when they are opened or

closed.
1. Open the door and clean the ”A” or “B” pillar.

2. Disconnect the battery.

3. Disconnect the door electrical connector.

The front/rear door rubber conduit may be coming in

contact with the ”A” or B” pillar (at arrow) when opening

or closing. Refer to the illustration above. Shown: Right

front door open, looking at right rear door connector.

4. Install two strips side by side, 100 mm (4 in) long,

of 3M™ Squeak Reduction Tape, P/N 06356, or

Kent Automotive Anti-Squeak Film Tape,

P/N KT13512. Install the two strips of squeak

reduction tape just below the wire harness

connector and 10 mm (3/8 in) rearward of the

connector. Refer to the illustration above.
