Reason for block
Complaint:

Vehicle cannot be opened/closed or started via Keyless-Go.
Cause:

The vehicle key was fitted with the wrong processor at the manufacturer. Therefore no Keyless-Go communications

are possible between the key and the vehicle.

Only vehicles within the following VIN ranges are affected.

Model series 212: VIN from

Remedy:

Verify whether the Keyless-Go function in the vehicle has worked in the past!

If YES:

Press button on key

- Keyless-Go function is restored: Do not replace any parts!

- Keyless-Go function inoperative: Perform Keyless-Go diagnosis with XENTRY

If NO:

Press button on key repeatedly. If the Keyless-Go function is still not restored after this, replace the affected key. Perform the function test with both keys!
