Technical Service Bulletin

Technical Background

The fault occurs with ATF temperature below 60o C. Check for this temp range in the extended environmental

conditions of the diagnosis protocol.

This TSB only applies if the ATF level is correct and there are no leaks.
Production Solution

New software in the Transmission Control Module (J217) addresses the condition.
Service

Verify all criteria in Condition and Technical Background matches. If other faults or conditions exist, this

TSB will not work and should not be followed.

SVM Update Instructions

1. Follow all instructions in the attached TSB 2011732 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating

instructions.

2. Update the Transmission control unit (J217) using the SVM action code as listed in the table below if

necessary.
