When closing the boot lid via the power close function the boot lid , on occasions , fails to latch
Technical background

The anti-trap function can be triggered by the proximity of the boot lid carpet to the seal adjacent to

the rear screen causing the system to abort the latching sequence and re-open the boot lid
Production change

The edge of the boot lid carpet adjacent to the rear screen has been dimensionally reduced
Measure

On receipt of a qualified complaint relating to power boot failure to latch , then a replacement boot
