Complaint:
The front door side window and/or rear side window exhibit vertical scratches.
Cause:
Angle of incidence of sealing lip on waistline trim strip relative to side window. Because of this, dirt particles (e.g.
sand) may be trapped between the waistline trim strip and the side window. These particles may scratch the side window when it is opened and/or closed.
Remedy:
Replace scratched window and install the new trim strip.
