Vehicle will not start or noisey exhaust,

Cause:
DPF Filter is Broken or Cracked and hot exhaust gas may blow on the wiring harness or dosing valve depending on
the location of the break in the DPF assembly.
This can cause the wiring inside the wiring harness to melt together and short. This short may not be readily apparent
as the tape covering the wires does not exhibit any signes of heat damage. The heated line to the dosing valve and
the dosing valve may also be damage due to hot exhaust gases blowing directly on them.
Damages that may occur can include:
1- F16 Fuse Blown
2 - Wires melted in wiring harness
3 - F5 Fuse blown in Main Fuse Box
4 - Melted wires at the Dosing valve
5 - Melted Heated line at Dosing valve

Remedy:
Inspect the DPF assembly for breakage I cracks/ leaks and repair the leaks and or replace the DPF Filter assembly.
Based on the location of the break and or leak, inspect both the dosing valve assembly and main wiring harness for
signs of damage.
In order to verify the status of the individual wires the outer tape on the wiring harness will need to be removed to visually inspect the integrity of the individual wires. Replace damage components and wiring as needed.
