Complaint:
Engine diagnosis warning lamp active:
The following fault codes may be stored in the engine control unit:
P262600 "The connection of the trimming resistor of oxygen sensor 1 (cylinder bank 1) has an electrical fault or an
open circuit"
or
P262900 "The connection of the trimming resistor of oxygen sensor 1 (cylinder bank 2) has an electrical fault or an
open circuit"

Cause:
Heating element of oxygen sensor damaged.

Remedy :
1. Replace left and right oxygen sensor upstream of CAT.
2. Perform post-documentation of SA code K01 in VeDoc (contact UHD)

3. Program engine control unit with latest softwa re.
Note:
If the latest engine control unit software has already been installed , SCN coding will suffice, once the oxygen sensor
was replaced and post docu mentation conducted.
