Service Procedure for SD Cards:
1.
In order to complete the vehicle map
upgrade, the vehicle audio unit must be
powered ON in the "engine OFF,
ignition ON mode." The complete MAP
update can take up to 20 minutes or
more.
*NOTICE
It is recommended that the
Midtronics GRB-1299 Diagnostic
Battery Charger system be used in
"Manual Mode" while performing
the upgrade procedure.

Remove the original SD Card from the
slot and insert the update SD Card.
The original SD Card will not be
reused and should be returned to the
customer.
NOTE: The update may start
automatically. If update does not
start, follow the steps below to
perform the update manually.

Press the SETUP button.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and
touch System Info on the screen.

to the head unit and proceed to the
next step.

"Update is complete" screen will
appear on the display and the system
will restart.
