SPLITVIEW Activation/Deactivation
Due to various state laws, SPLITVIEW is currently only allowed in certain states. As of August 1, 2014, the
state of Wisconsin now allows SPLITVIEW.
All vehicles equipped with SPLITVIEW will arrive with this feature de-activated from the factory. Activation
can only occur as outlined in Ll82.85-P-048667.
This bulletin has been created and maintained in accordance with MBUSA-SLP S423QH001 , Document and Data Control , and
MBUSA-SLP S424HH001 , Control of Records .

To activate SPLITVIEW, connect SOS to the vehicle and ONLY activate after first confirming whether your
state prohibited this technology by acknowledging your comp liance.
The Dealer is responsible and will be held accountable for ensuring proper activation ; or deactivation , if a
vehicle with SPLITVIEW that has been previously activated needs to be deactivated before retailed in a
prohibited state.
