Some features and benefits of Meritor' s non-drive front steer axles include a draw-key design
that offers great lateral stability, more even loading and greater retention for reduced wear; a
bolt-on king pin cap reduces contaminant ingress, which may increase wear and decrease
service life; and Meritor steer bushings have more friction to optimize steer effort ease without
front-axle vibration.
The Meritor axle warranty for linehaul applications is five years or 750,000 miles with parts
and labor included, and every clain1 is fully supported by its industry-leading online warranty
claim system. Meritor Advantage Plans offer extended coverage up to seven years in linehaul

MTA "Trailer Suspension, Series With
TWo Low-Mount Models
Meritor has announced the production of the MT A25 lowmount and MTA30 low-mount trailer suspensions, the two
newest family members of its MTA (Meritor Trailing-Arm Air) suspension series for North
American trailer operators. These units are specifically designed as part of a fully-integrated
system to optimize performance and weight, and are ideal for vocational applications like
single-drop flatbed, double-drop flatbed, loggers and chip hauler trailers .

Meritor has expanded Instructor-Led Training courses for its customers.
Courses include Meritor components such as rear drive and front non-drive
steer axles; foundation brakes; trailer products; transfer cases, front drive
steer axles, and drivelines; and Meritor W ABCO's complete product
lineup that includes vehicle dynamics and controls, compression and
braking.

Meritor WABCO continues to demonstrate its leadership in trailer
safety systems with its Roll Stability Support (RSS) lM roll mitigation
system. This 2-sensor/1-modulator system completes the industry's
most diverse offering of trailer safety systems to provide the benefits of
both ABS and trailer stability control integrated into a single compact
unit. The Meritor WABCO RSS lM is derived from the proven RSS
2M system that has been available to fleets for 9 years.
The risk of rollover from driving actions, including collision avoidance manuevers, sudden
lane changes, and acceleration in a curve can be mitigated or prevented as a result ofRSS IM,
thereby assisting the driver in maintaining control of the vehicle.
The system automatically accounts for the load status and calculates lateral acceleration while
driving. If the lateral acceleration exceeds a specific value, low pressure check brake
applications are applied. If the system detects a potential rollover during the brake check
process, a full brake application is put into effect.
The versatile retrofit product is designed to fit trailers already equipped with Meritor WABCO
ABS, a competitive ABS brand, or even non-ABS trailers; and is available for air or spring
