Condition
A limited number of trucks were built that do not meet Kenworth’s quality standards, however the trucks do exceed FMVSS 121 standards.

Chassis Affected
12 T800 and W900s built between 03/17/2014 – 07/01/2014.

Action
CAMPAIGN
Review the attached chassis list for your dealer code and schedule your customer(s) for service if their chassis is on the list. This campaign can be
performed at any time convenient for the customer (for example: during next scheduled maintenance interval). Use the attached procedure. Review the
DWWC or SIR for “Complete” next to the “13-40” campaign code prior to performing this repair.

Warranty
Through Standard Warranty (excludes Extended Warranty) or for repairs completed by 03/01/2016, whichever is greater, Kenworth will pay for parts at
dealer net plus applicable mark-up and labor:
4.3 hours labor to update the air system (File a long form for this repair).

Parts are available from PACCAR Parts. Find your chassis on the attached "Parts List" spreadsheet for a list of parts required for that particular chassis.

Background
Kenworth’s quality standards for lift axle air volume exceed those outlined in FMVSS 121. In an effort to continually improve our products, Kenworth has
determined that increasing the air volume on T800s and W900 with lift axles is a worthwhile improvement.
