Follow your internal safety procedures.
PROCEDURE
1.1.
Open the rear engine access door.
1.2.
Open the street side engine access door.
1.3.
Open the transmission access door.
1.4.
Open the engine access door under the rear passenger seat.
1.5.
Inspect the plastic slit convoluted conduit located close to the engine turbo on the WHA 61 electrical harness.
See Figure 1. If damage is detected, go to the next step. If no damage is detected, go to step 1.10.

1.6.
Remove the P-clamps. Retain the hardware.
1.7.
Remove damaged convoluted conduit.
1.8.
Install an appropriate length of new N28083-10 convoluted conduit to cover the entire damaged area. Tape
the conduit in place with N74787 electrical tape. Install two turns of tape on every six inches (150 mm) along
the convoluted conduit.
1.9.
Install the P-Clamps. Use the retained hardware.

Install between the P-clamps, an appropriate length of N74053-08 heat sleeve on the three harness sections.
See Figure 2. DO NOT install the P-clamps on the heat sleeve. Close the sleeve with the integrated selfadhesive.

Secure all the sleeves with N56339 cable ties. See Figure 3.

Close all four engine and transmission access doors.
1.13.
The vehicle may be returned to service.
