Chassis affected by this campaign have park lamp and head lamp switch positions tied together, may have a
door module wake up issue, and mirror jitteriness.

Chassis Affected
37 T680 built between 01/16/2012 – 05/07/2012. See the attached chassis list. The DWC and SIR online
system indicate chassis involved in this campaign by campaign code 34-43.

Action
Review the attached chassis list for your dealer code and schedule your customer(s) for service if their
chassis is on the list. Service all chassis affected that enter your dealership, even if the customer has no issue
with the chassis. Use the attached Repair Procedure.

Through Basic Vehicle Warranty or for repairs completed by 08/30/13, whichever is greater, Kenworth will pay
$117.00 dollars as a handling fee and 2.8 hours labor to retrofit parts, rewire and reprogram the CECU. Use
Quick Claim 34-043.

PACCAR Parts has assembled one kit per chassis. Parts are on reserve for each chassis. Confirm

with the customer that your dealership will be the repairing location before ordering parts.
PPD will ship all appropriate parts for the specific chassis number.

Parts will be shipped at no charge to the dealer.
•
Parts will be shipped in one complete kit.
•
Parts will be shipped by ground. Shipment time will be approximately 1 week.

The packing slip will list the Dealer Order Number as “RETRO CH 123456” and the kit P/N (34-043U

for U.S. chassis and dealers, 34-043C for Canadian chassis and dealers).
Ensure both the Parts and Service Managers are aware of the chassis specific order.
