DESCRIPTION
If replacing the ring and pinion is required to repair a customer complaint of rear end noise,
contact the CSE and get him or her involved. Replacing the ring and pinion on Meritor Axles is
NOT a warrantable failure.
To get the correct part# for a Quiet Ride gear set, look up the part number diff it came with and
then take that to Pharos. Pharos will give you a tabulation drawing and page number to look at.
Find the part number the unit was built with and locate the same with a Quiet Ride gear set.
