Check the indicator light by opening the drain petcock at the
control box. The light will come ON to indicate that it’s
operating correctly.
앫 If the indicator light is not operating correctly: Refer to
Maintenance Manual 14P to correct the issue.

When the MTIS warning light is ON, monitor the PLC display
installed on the test stands and confirm the following message
is displayed. Figure 2.

Tire Pressure
To prevent serious eye injury, always wear safe eye protection
when you perform vehicle maintenance or service.
1.
Wear safe eye protection.
2.
Check that the trailer has the correct air supply (120-130 psi
[827-896 kPa]) and the system is connected to a 12-volt
power source.
3.
Check that the shut-off valve is ON. When the valve is ON, the
knob aligns with the shut-off valve body. Ensure that the drain
petcock is closed. Figure 1.

InfoLink™ software update inspection and generic I/O programming
procedures for 400 500 106 0 ECUs.

NOTE: If the message does not appear, check the ABS part
number. This function is only supported by part number
400 500 106 0.

Check to ensure the trailer mounted ABS warning light is ON
when the MTIS warning light is activated.
앫 If yes: Close the MTIS petcock to see if light goes back off.
Then, perform the InfoLink™ software update using the
Generic I/O Programming Procedure for the 400 500 106 0
ECU.
앫 If no: The trailer has already been updated. Record that
corrective action is not required in the GTi vehicle data
base.

400 500 106 0 ECU
1.
Copy file GTI.tio to C:\Program Files\WABCO\WINNT\Trailer.
2.
Connect a laptop and interface to establish communications
with ABS on the trailer. Verify that part number 446 500 106 0
is displayed in ECU Information screen.

Select Start and then Download when instructed in the Status
box. Figure 5.

Go to Modify on the top toolbar and select Download G/O
Parameters. Figure 3.

PLC display receives the following message and only the MTIS
lamp activates. Figure 7.
