Reason for this Service Action (SA-19-0206)
A quantity of vehicles have been made that have TPMS modules that are not to the correct manufacturing quality
specification. It is possible that these modules can become defective at some time in the future. Because of this
problem, the TPMS module in all of the vehicles in the affected VIN list must be replaced. If failure of the module
occurs, the TPMS system will self-alert and show a TPMS failure warning.
Please refer to the attached VIN list in Appendix "A" and replace the TPMS module on all vehicles in the list.
Note:
Make sure that you do this Service Action on all new vehicles before they are given to the
Customer.
If the Customer has collected their vehicle, do this Service Action when the vehicle next comes to
your Dealership .

Note:
1.
A right-hand drive vehicle is shown in the procedure that follows. The procedure for a left-hand
drive vehicle is the same.
Release the carpet and the sound insulation material from the Central Electronic Module (CEM) cover plate
and the footwell.

Remove the seven bolts that attach the CEM cover
plate to the floor and remove the cover plate (refer
to Figure 1).

Release the carpet from the sill and the tunnel.
4.
Move the carpet to get access to the nuts that attach the footwell plate to the floor.
5.
Remove the bottom screw for the blower assembly
to get access to the footwell plate nut (refer to
Figure 2).

Remove the five screws and three nuts that attach
the footwell plate to the floor and remove the
footwell plate (refer to Figure 3).

Remove the two nuts that attach the module for
the tyre pressure monitor (module) to the body
(refer to Figure 4).

Disconnect the electrical connector and remove
the module (refer to Figure 5).

Connect the electrical connector to the new module.
10.
Put the module into position.
11.
Install and tighten the two nuts that attach the
module for the tyre pressure monitor to the body
(refer to Figure 6).

Put the footwell plate in position.
13.
Install and torque the five screws and three nuts
that attach the footwell plate to the floor, to 9 Nm
(refer to Figure 7).

Install and tighten the bottom screw for the blower

Put the carpets for the tunnel and the sill back into position.

Put the CEM cover plate into position (refer to

17.

plate to the floor.
