Summary of Complaint
WHEN DRIVING AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS AND HITTING A SMALL BUMP OR RIDGE IN THE ROAD, THE FRONT STEERING SYSTEMS STARTS SHAKING VIOLENTLY AND CAN ONLY BE STOPPED BY BRAKING HARD AND SLOWING THE VEHICLE TO A STOP. THIS IS A KNOWN ISSUE WITH MANY FORD TRUCK OWNERS AND IS KNOWN AS THE 'DEATH WOBBLE'. I LIVE IN HOUSTON AND BRAKING HARD TO A STOP HERE, DURING RUSH HOUR, ON A MAJOR HIGHWAY IS EXTREMELY HAZARDOUS. I'M BEGINNING TO BE AFRAID TO DRIVE THIS TRUCK ON THE ROAD.
