TL* TAKATA RECALL. THE CONTACT OWNS A 2011 FORD FUSION. THE CONTACT STATED THAT HE RECEIVED THE INTERIM RECALL NOTICE FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 16V384000 (AIR BAGS) A LONG TIME AGO. THE REMEDY AND PARTS WERE UNAVAILABLE TO SCHEDULE A RECALL REPAIR WITHIN A REASONABLE TIME FRAME. THE DEALER HAD NOT YET BEEN CONTACTED. THE CONTACT WAITED TO RECEIVE A SECOND NOTICE. THE MANUFACTURER SENT A SECOND RECALL NOTICE, INDICATING THAT THE PARTS MAY BECOME AVAILABLE IN SPRING OF 2018. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. VIN TOOL CONFIRMS PARTS NOT AVAILABLE.
