Summary of Complaint
ON 12-28-16 AS I WAS LEAVING FOR WORK. MY ENGINE WOULD NOT START. PEDAL TO PUSH DOWN AND START BUTTON WAS NOT WORKING. ALL ICONS ON MY CAR POPPED UP AND SAYS MALFUNCTION ON ALL LEVEL. IT ALSO MADE WEIRD SOUNDS IN FRONT AND INSIDE THE CAR. I CALLED CERRITOS ACURA FOR ASSISTANCE AND SPOKE WITH SERVICE ADVISER-DON,WHO INDICATED HE HAS BEEN AWARE OF NEW CAR WITH BATTERY ISSUE. HE ASKED THAT I REPLACED MY BATTERY FIRST AND BRING IT TO THEM. I CALLED AAA,WHO VERIFIED MY BATTERY IS BAD WITH PACIFIC TOW. THEY COULDN'T REPLACE IT CUZ THEY RAN OUT OF BATTERY. MY CAR COULDN'T LOCK SO I HAD IT TOWED TO MY HOUSE WITH A FLAT BED. NEXT DAY, ACURA TOWED MY CAR TO DEALERSHIP, MY CAR IS NOT ABLE TO START PERIOD. WINDOWS CAN'T GO UP, THEY COULDN'T CHECK ODOMETER,COULDN'T LOCK. ALL ICONS SHOWS MALFUNCTION. I REPORTED TO ACURA HEADQUARTER WITH MY ISSUE. ACURA CERRITOS IS TRYING TO RELEASE CAR BACK TO ME STATED EVERYTHING IS FINE WITHOUT FIXING IT. INTERNET SHOWS CLASS ACTION SUIT RELATED TO DEFECT OF HANDSFREELINK BLUETOOTH PHONE PAIRING SYSTEM CONTAINS DEFECT, THAT RESULTS IN DEAD CAR BATTERIES WHICH DRAINED BATTERIES WITH RECURRENT BATTERY REPLACEMENT AND PREMATURE FAILURE OF OTHER ELECTRICAL COMPONENTS OF VEHICLE/ALTERNATOR AND ELECTRICAL FAILURE. THE CAR SOUNDS LIKE I HAVE SOMETHING SHORT CIRCUITED AND WITH ECM ENGINE CONTROL MODULE. I ALSO HAVE BEING COMPLAINING OF GPS STUCK AND FOB NOT WORKING.
