REF# 10670754 01/07/15 NVS-216RR DEALER (MHSRV) NOTIFIED IN PERSON, BY PHONE & IN WRITING (EMAIL) MFG FOREST RIVER CONTACTED BY PHONE - MIKE BUKOWSKI 10/16/14 TEST DRIVE: MHSRV ASSURES SEATBELTS CHECKED @ MAKE READY. 10/17/14 PURCHASED MOTORHOME. SEATBELTS NOT FIXED. MHSRV SAID TAKE ON TRIP, WRITE LIST OF REPAIRS, BRING BACK IN FOR REPAIRS MADE ALL AT ONCE. 12/04/2014 RETURNED TO MHSRV FOR REPAIR. SVC ADVISOR SAID MHSRV AWARE OF SEATBELT ISSUE, IT HAD BEEN BROUGHT TO THEIR ATTENTION BY ANOTHER CUSTOMER. 01/21/2015 "REPLY EMAIL' FROM MHSRV WITH DESCRIPTION OF SEATBELT ISSUE: 'D/S & P/S SHOULDER STRAPS DO NOT FULLY RETRACT, SLACK @ FLOOR SHOULDER STRAPS LOOSE AT SHOULDER, NOT PROPERLY POSITIONED AT SHOULDER AREA OF SEAT SHOULDER STRAPS LOOSE @ CHEST STRAPS DO NOT CROSSOVER SHOULDER AND DOWNWARD @ TORSO ' MALE OR FEMALE BODY FRAME SHOULDER STRAPS NOT SAFELY POSITIONED TO HOLD FRONT DRIVER/PASSENGER STATIONARY DURING IMPACT IF ACCIDENT OCCURRED - IMPACT WOULD ALLOW DRIVER/PASSENGER TO BE LOOSELY THROWN AROUND WHILE BUCKLED. WE WILL BE SENDING PICTURES OF HOW THEY COME ACROSS SOMEONE. WE DID MEASURE OTHER LEGACY MOTOR HOMES WE HAVE ON OUR LOT AND THEIR SEATBELT MOUNTS ARE AT THE SAME HEIGHT.
