I HAVE FORD FUSION 2010 BOUGHT USED AND DRIVING IT FOR ABOUT 1 YEAR AND 4 MONTHS NOW. FOR THE LAST THREE DAYS IN A ROW THE BREAK GOES DOWN TO THE FLOOR AND GETS OUT OF CONTROL, BREAK FAILURE APPEARS ON THE DASHBOARD WHILE DRIVING. YOU TOTALLY FEEL LIKE IT IS GOING TO CRUSH WITH THE CAR INFRONT OF YOU. IN MY CASE I HAVE TO TURN ON EMERGENCY LIGHT AND TURN OFF THE ENGINE. AND WHEN I RESTART THE ENGINE AND DRIVE AND IT COMES BACK TO NORMAL. THIS IS REALLY VERY DENGEROUS IF IT IS IN HIGH SPEED TRAFFIC AND IN DRIVING BETWEEN CARS. WHEN I SEARCH ABOUT THIS ISSUE I FOUND A CBS NEWS ON YOUTUBE PUBLISHED DECEMBER 2019 THAT FORD WAS IS RECALLING FORD FUSION FROM 2006 TO 2020 ABOUT THE SAME ISSUE I HAVE. I CALLED FORD CUSTOMER CARE ABOUT THIS ISSUE, BUT THEY TOLD ME THERE IS NO RECALL MADE WITH THIS ISSUE AND TOLD ME THAT TO FIX THE CAR AND KEEP THE RECEIPT FOR FURTHER INVESTIGATION.

IT DID THIS MULTIPLE TIMES ABOUT 5-6 TIME EVERY TIME I WOULD ACCELERATE FROM A SPEED OF 30-40. I DECIDED TO DROP IT OFF AT MY LOCAL GMC TO GET IT LOOKED AT. THEY CALLED ME THE NEXT DAY TO PICK IT UP SINCE THEY RAN IT THROUGH DIAGNOSTICS AND DIDN'T FIND AN ISSUE WITH THE VEHICLE. ONCE I GOT THERE I DEMANDED FOR THE MECHANIC TO COME DRIVE THE TRUCK WITH ME TO SEE WHAT THE ISSUE WAS AND THEY DECIDED THEY NEEDED TO KEEP IT FOR A COUPLE OF DAYS TO GET IT LOOKED AT. THEY THEN CALLED TWO DAYS AFTER AND SAID THAT THE TRANSMISSION WAS MESSED UP AND NEEDED A NEW ONE TOTALING THE COST TO $5346.07 WHICH IS CERTAINLY NOT SOMETHING WE CAN AFFORD RIGHT NOW! I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW THEY DIDN'T SEE THE ISSUE THE FIRST TIME THEY DIAGNOSED IT?? THIS IS SOMETHING THAT NEEDS TO GET RECALLED I HAVE SEEN MANY SIMILAR ISSUES.
