HAD MY TRUCK PARKED FOR 5 HOURS AT MY GRANDPARENTS WENT TO LEAVE AND HAD NO POWER STEERING AND THE SERVICE POWER STEERING MESSAGE CAME ON THE DASH WHEN I STARTED IT IN THE DRIVEWAY. I CHECKED THE POWER STEERING FLUID AND IT WAS FULL. SO I TURNED THE TRUCK OFF AND LET IT SIT FOR A FEW MINUTES AND STARTED IT BACK UP AGAIN AND POWER STEERING WAS STILL OUT. I TURNED THE TRUCK OFF AGAIN AND LET IT SIT FOR A FEW MINUTES STARTED IT BACK UP AND THE POWER STEERING WAS STILL OUT BUT I WAS ABLE TO STEER EASIER THAN BEFORE SO I DROVE HOME. ALSO AT THE SAME TIME THE SERVICE ESC MESSAGE CAME ON ALONG WITH THE LIGHT ON THE DASH. THE SECOND TIME RESTARTING THE TRUCK THE SERVICE ESC MESSAGE AND LIGHT WENT AWAY. THE RECALL THAT WAS TO FIX THIS ISSUE HAD ALREADY BEEN COMPLETED ON MY TRUCK. I HAVE BEEN HAVING TRANSMISSION ISSUES AS WELL WHERE THE TRUCK WILL JERK INTO SECOND GEAR AND WHEN SLOWING DOWN FROM 2ND TO FIRST IT WILL JERK AGAIN.
