E-Track Retrofit Installation Instructions
- Install a 4’ high, 3/8” plywood kick plate over the existing interior wall using the correct fasteners as described in tab a or b. Fasten the kick plate into the wall studs to ensure a firm hold.
- If the interior walls are ¾” plywood apply the 3/8” plywood kick plate using #10x24x2” self-tapping screws
- If the interior walls are 3/8” plywood, apply the 3/8” plywood kick plate using #10x24x1.5” self-tapping screws.
- Once the plywood kick plate is installed, mark the desired height for the E-track and use the same fasteners used in step 1. Fasten the E-track into the wall studs to ensure a firm hold. Factory height is 36” from the floor measured to the center of the E-track.
- Caution: check the length of the fastener to avoid damage to the exterior aluminum siding.
Interior Ladder Rack Retrofit Installation Instructions
- A minimum of two inside ladder racks are required spaced appropriately to fit the rung spacing of the ladder.
- Installation steps:
- Measure 3’ from the front of the interior flat wall and place the first ladder rack over the top of the interior wall.
- Measure another 3’ from the first ladder rack and place the second ladder rack over the top of the interior wall.
- Dry fit your ladder to ensure the ladder racks lay within the
- Attach each ladder rack with two 2-5/16” x 1” hex lag screws.
