A lack of ventilation may cause the battery to over charge and emit battery vapor, increasing the risk of an injury and/or fire.

Braun Ambulances (Braun) is recalling certain 2022 Demers MXP153E ambulances. The rear battery compartment may be missing the ventilation hole.
Remedy
Dealers will drill a hole and install a filter in the rear battery compartment, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed in December 2022. Owners may contact Braun’s customer service at 1-877-344-9990.

We started the visual inspection of the rear ambulance module and notice a issue on the one inspected. The ventilation hole for the battery was missing
A revision of the drawing of the rear module was done back in February , 2022.
Identify all unit
November 14 , 2022 All ambulance module on production line were inspected and corrected A action plan is started for the unit and the field and identify them.
